About
One world. Twenty games.
World of Games is a family of quick, free games played on one spinning globe. Each round shows you a photo: a home, a famous sporting moment, a painting, or a treasure sold at auction. Then you answer three questions: where in the world, when or how much, and who or which one.
How a game works
- Where? Drop a pin on the globe. The closer you are, the more points you score, up to 5,000 a round.
- The number: slide to the year, the price or the visitor count. The nearer you get, the more points.
- Which one? Pick from four answers, like the player who won, the artist who painted it or the city it’s in.
Play a quick game of five rounds or the daily game everyone shares. You can also challenge a friend to the same five rounds, or host a live game, a pub quiz on the big screen where everyone plays on their phone.

Where the facts and photos come from
Every moment, price and date is checked against published sources: auction houses’ results, official records, and newspaper and sporting archives. Each photo’s credit is shown with it. Most photos come from Wikimedia Commons and Unsplash under free licences, and every reveal includes a short note on the story behind it.
Players are placed on the home globe by their device’s time zone. No location is collected. See the privacy policy for more.
